We designed the adaptive re-use of an abandoned wood, steel and masonry building in historic downtown Springfield for professional offices. The exterior and interior was completely renovated and made ADA-compliant including renovation of the existing traction elevator, new restrooms, new entrances, new stairwells, and new facades. The exterior design utilizes modern and economical construction technology while incorporating traditional detailing.
